Test young childrens comprehension of numbers in three different representations:
-Quantity (a number of rectangles)
-Digit (the numeric digit)
-Word (the spoken name of the number, in English or Spanish)

A number in one of the above 3 representations will be shown (the stimulus), and the child will have to choose the matching number from 2 options, presented in a different representation than the stimulus (e.g. stimulus is a digit and the responses are spoken words).

Target numbers range from 1 to 9, and there are two trials per target number. They are presented in a random order, but all the small numbers (1-3) are shown first, then all the medium numbers (4-6), and finally the large ones (7-9).

Upon completion of all trials, the result is saved to a .csv (Excel-compatible) file which can be transferred to your computer through iTunes file sharing (note: you must plug the iPad in to access this feature). If you stop a trial before it is completed, the app will remember where you left off and give you the option to resume the test or to start a new one.

Students will be shown practice trials to familiarize themselves with the trials, and once they have completed 3 practice trials successfully, the test will begin.
